This course allows the learner to develop their musical skills, ability and creativity through tuition technology and performance.
Learners study a combination of instrumental techniques, music theory, music industry studies and music practice.
We offer a wide range of qualifications accredited by internationally recognised bodies. See our certification page.
Learners study towards achieving popular music theory exams, instrumental graded exams on guitar, bass drums, piano, vocals, fiddle, tin whistle, and banjo.
A large range of genres are covered including rock, pop, indie, funk, metal, traditional Irish, jazz and folk.
Tuition is offered to all learners and is set at a level appropriate to their ability.
Q.Q.I modules in Music Performance and Music Theory & Practice are available leading to a full Q.Q.I. award at either level 4 or level 5.
Work Experience and Music Performance are important aspects of the course.
A wide range of progression options are available to learners on completion of their programme with us including L.W.E., Employment and Further Education/Training for example.
