Information Technology and Office Skills
The Information Technology and Office Skills course is designed to give learners the opportunity to develop their practical and personal skills and to complete full certification at QQI level 3 and 4 in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The computer section equips learners with knowledge skill and expertise in computer theory and a wide range of computer applications such as Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Internet and E mail, Database, Graphics, File Management, Publisher and PowerPoint,
Data entry, preparation of business documents, career preparation and interview skills are also part of the course. Learners will learn skills required to work in an office environment such as receptionist skills, telephone skills, use of office equipment and filing.
Emphasis is placed on practical work and each learner will having the opportunity to participate in a work experience programme which will aid them in developing their confidence and self-belief.
This will also encourage learners to progress to further education or to seek employment within the industry.
